Sebastian Green, Director

Sebastian Green FRICS FAAV studied at the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, before training with a leading national firm and later establishing his own land agency practice, Greens Chartered Surveyors, in 2008. With more than 30 years’ experience in the rural property profession, Sebastian has advised on and managed some of the country’s most prestigious rural and sporting estates.

He brings an innovative and commercially focussed approach to rural estate management, with particular expertise in combining sound financial management with the long term stewardship of land, property and natural assets. His work has included some of the most extensive peatland restoration projects in the English uplands, as well as major heather restoration programmes. For one client in the North Pennines, his work contributed to achieving the coveted old Purdey Award for Game and Conservation.

Sebastian has extensive experience across estate management, property transactions, sporting, conservation, environmental projects and strategic rural property advice. He was a founding Trustee of The Country Food Trust and has sat on management boards for a number of clients.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (FAAV).
